An active music educator and performer, Daniel Larson has experience teaching all genres from blues and rock, to pop, folk, jazz, and classical.
Currently, Daniel performs at various locations in the tri-state area, including local venues, private parties, weddings, receptions, and art galleries.
He’s also available for private lessons: tailored to each individual student’s interests, age, and learning style. Whether you are picking up a guitar for the first time or are highly experienced but stuck in a rut, Daniel is dedicated to helping you achieve your goals.
Daniel has a B.A. and an M.M. in music with focus on guitar performance. He studied classical guitar at Columbia College in Chicago where he received his Bachelor of Arts in Guitar Performance. He earned his Masters Degree in 2010 from Roosevelt University where he studied with guitar virtuoso Denis Azabagic.
In 2006, Dan received a scholarship to study at the Conservatory in Santiago de Compostela, Spain; a course started by Segovia to promote the performance of Spanish music. He also completed the “Curso de Interpretación para la Guitarra” at the 2004 and 2007 Festival de Cordoba, Spain.
